• Throw Back Thursdays – Suckered into a Scarf

Brioche – I have written several times about it here.

On a high after my class with Nancy Marchant at Vogue Knitting Live in NYC I ran down to the market. I kid you not I RAN and nocked over a couple old ladies to find yarn for a new brioche project. I got a ball of Kauni because it is sticky wool and smelllllllls soooooooo gooooooood. I mixed it with some yarn I had dyed at one of the Kraemer Yarns Knitting Retreats and started a scarf.

I must confess – I HATE SCARVES … so I get 4 inches started and stuff it in a drawer.

I know why this sitting here. . .  I do not want to deal with the mess of ripping it out.

I also know what I want to do with it, I want to make a syncopated cowl that Nancy writes about in the Fall 2013 Vogue Knitting Magazine.

So I guess the question for you is –

Do I cut it and cast on my new project

    Or

Rip it out re-wind it all and start again.

I am REALLY looking forward to this answer.

Since this one is pretty easy and today is also the birthday of a several of my friends,

    Lets Have a CONTEST

I love the way that brioche looks; however, if you’re not into scarves, I say, bail on the project. My vote cut it, and cast on for something new.
