Throw Back Thursday - Sock Blankie

This project is technically a long-term project BUTTTTTT.

I started this 2 or 3 years ago I decided to begin with bigger blocks than what the Sock Yarn Blanket pattern calls for in hopes it would go faster, but then I started to second guess myself thinking smaller square might just be better… and well here as little yarn balls add up.

    SO Should I

    Save it for Someday

Rip it and Recycle the yarn

                            Or

                            Get rid of it.

Let me know what you think,

    Kate

PS – I am still waiting to hear from

    Dianne Nichols

A new winner will be announced Tuesday Evening at 6:00 p.m.

Kate, I have to say that I think you have committed to this project and must learn to love it again! This is a keeper!

  2. Jeanie says:

I’m afraid I agree with Beth. If you like the look of smaller units , just keep surrounding this with smaller ones.

  3. Judy Legere says:

This is beautiful! I would not frog it, throw it away, or anything negative. I love this, the colors are amazing! If you really don’t want it, you could always send it my way. LOL

  4. I agree — keep at it! It’s lovely and you can totay car knit squares. 🙂

  5. Linda says:

Thus is a keeper, keep plugging away at it. And if you need any sock yarn scraps just holler!

I like it, keep it. Just consider it an on-again, off-again perpetual project. It’s one of those you pick up when the feeling strikes you.
