• Bitten Off More Than I Can Chew

One day on twitter my friend Linda (LindaNJ06) mentioned that she was going to knit 50 hats for donation this year…. 50 – Five Zero Hats for donation.

Her chosen charities are Appalachia Project found here on Facebook

And the Market Street Mission Hat Drive found here on Facebook.

I like knitting hats. I can knit them as I ride me exercise bike, I call it FitKnits.

2 of my best selling designs are my Cassidy Beret and Cassidy Cap. (Link)

Hats are a fun place to play with new stitches and are relatively fast to knit, especially kids hats.

Taking my current, active projects in mind, my big quilting project, the Kraemer Yarns Knitting Retreat the end of September and my tendency to over commit myself, I jumped in and said I would knit 25 hats for donation.

Taking my current, active projects in mind and my big quilting project, the Kraemer Yarns Knitting Retreat the end of September and my tendency to over commit myself, I think I might have bitten off more than I can chew….

But Hey – they’re hats, they are fun and they are for good causes.

Come and join us, pick your own charity and cast on.

    Blissful Knitting,

    Kate
