• Hold Ewe’r Hand

My husband and I like to hold hands as we walk to the train, or thru a parking lot. As the temperatures drop this get hard for me to do and I keep my hands in my pockets. Then my husband turns to me and says, “You NEVER hold my hand anymore . . .” even though I was holding it just 5 minutes before.

Well this is my answer to his comment.

    Hold Ewe'r Hand

A pair of fingerless mitts for him and me.

They are knit in the round with a thumb gusset so there is a left hand and a right hand.

They fit snug so reaching for your train pass or digging in your purse it not hard to do. They are open on top so wearing fancy rings is not a problem.

Hold Ewe'r Hand Palm and Thumb Gusset

A simple knit purl texture on the back of the hand adds interest without a lot of extra work  and also helps with the fit.

Hold Ewe'r Hand - Back of Hand

The pattern has both written and charted stitch patterns. Instructions provided for a set of 5 double points or 2 circular needles.

This pattern is available on Ravelry, Craftsy, and Patternfish.

Big THANKS to my friend Karen (AKA Atknitsend) with help on the wonderfully fun name!!

I hope you enjoy knitting and wearing them as much as I do!!

    Blissful Knitting,
